Charles H. Wilson
Mr. Charles H. Wilson, age 71, passed away on Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at North Florida Regional Hospital. He was born in Bithlo, Florida. Coming from Orlando, Fl, Mr. Wilson had lived in Mayo since 2005 and formerly worked in Management with Solid Waste. He was of the Baptist Faith and a member of the Mayo Masonic Lodge # 119, where he served as Secretary, and also a member of the Aycock Hunting Club. He enjoyed hunting and fishing in his spare time. He was preceded in death by his father, James E. Wilson.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Hazel Wilson of Mayo, Fl, his mother and step-father, Bradie Davis and Jim Davis of Bronson, Fl, (2) daughters; Carrie Fiorey and Whitney Wilson, both of Mayo, Fl, (2) brothers; Jimmy Wilson and wife JoAnne of Orlando, Fl, Earl Wilson and wife Jackie of Hayesville, NC, a sister; Jeannette King of Bronson, Fl, (2) grandchildren; Steven Fiorey II and wife Liz, and Andrew Fiorey, (1) great-grandchild; Isabella Alexis Fiorey, and beloved nieces and nephews. Funeral Services were held at Airline Baptist Church on Saturday, April 10, 2010 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Chip Parker and Pastor Charlie Walker officiating. Interment followed at the Airline Church Cemetery. Family received friends on Friday evening from 6 pm – 8 p.m. at Burns Mayo Chapel.
