Who in the world at City Hall is in charge of the messages on the utility bills? Obviously, someone illiterate and unaware of the current year. This is not only an embarrassment to the City but also to the community as a whole. Hopefully, whoever is responsible for this didn’t attend the Suwannee County school system.

Just would like to say thanks to Mayor Nobles and the city for the beautiful native palm trees in downtown I think they'll look great when they grow out also thanks for the new parking lot under construction on Warren Street this will be an asset not only to the courthouse but to all the businesses downtown. We’re so lucky to have a great mayor and city staff that does so much for our town. Keep up the good work.

I want to rant about the paper about the article in the paper about the senior center getting a $250 from the Democratic National Committee toward the purchase of a new television that they had needed for years. How convenient that they’re doing this right here at election time. They want the votes. And how convenient that you printed the letter of return thanking them. What about the others that donated toward the purchase. So maybe there were others but you didn’t print that. I hope the senior citizens will have recognized that this is a political ploy.

We, as Americans, have much to be grateful for. One of them is the freedom to "rant" or "rave." We sure do enough ranting but I'd like to rave today.
LISA'S LIGHTS were wonderful. This is the second year we were able to enjoy this wonderful display. It took a lot of
talent and it she was not ashamed to write "Jesus is the reason for the season" and "Happy birthday, Jesus!"
