Yes, in regards to the woman who needed mental help and could not find it in Suwannee County, she's right.

Referring to the "Catalyst prospect a no-go" news report in the Wednesday, June 23, 2010 Suwannee Democrat edition. Mr. Caruthers undoubtedly is not much of a businessman or he would have recognized that the questions Mr. Baker was requesting from Eccostone LLC were very much in line, especially when Mr. Caruthers is chomping at the bit to give away the store! Mr. Baker was merely trying to protect Suwannee County's interest ($500,000.00 was it not?) $500,000.00 of OUR hard earned taxes I might add. So the County may miss getting a "Grant" this year! There will be another one to come down the pipe next year. Mr. Caruthers, do you even know who is responsible for paying the "Grant" back? Yep, Mr. Baker, you keep on writing those "deal breaker" letters and I will keep voting for you. Also, thanks for looking after OUR money closely as the Commissioners sure don't seem concerned.

Yes, rant and rave, listen to this. Suwannee County blew it again. There was a big company from Tallahassee wanting to build here and give people jobs, and Suwannee County screwed it up again. Every time a big company wants to come here, they move away, they go somewhere else, because the county gives them so many problems. They're just a pain in the rear. You got to get rid of these old forefathers that they keep voting them in and voting them in. You're never going to get any companies to come in this town. I've been here six years and the only thing that's come here in six or seven years is Lowe's. There's something really wrong with this county. Suwannee County you better wake up or you're gonna get left behind, and I mean really behind.

Since the President says he is the person responsible for the cleanup of the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, why pray tell has he not waived the requirements in the 1920 Jones Act? Doing so would permit ships, equipment and expertise of foreign countries to assist in resolving the many challenges the USA is experiencing! Perhaps, he speaks with a forked tongue?

With the city reporting half a million dollar deficit in their budget, which would've been nice to know before the election, and the Catalyst Site being a no-go, maybe we should have afforded a change regarding the mayor.

Hey, some of the federal immigration laws MAY actually work. On Monday, near the western-saddle store on US90 in Columbia County, there were two, yes two!, Border Patrol vehicles that had stopped a vehicle. Hopefully, some invaders were take away to be deported, thus opening some job vacancies for those who can work legally in the USA.
~~
Yes, I'd like to just say thank you to our road department. They do a good job on grading the roads. I live out west 90 and I hope that you publish this one.
work legally in the USA.

"Senator Joseph Lieberman has launched legislation to specifically grant the Obama administration the power to 'turn off' the Internet in case of a national emergency. 'Right now China, the government, can disconnect parts of its Internet in case of war and we need to have that here too,' Lieberman reportedly said during a CNN interview."

So much for the 1st Amendment from Joe Lieberman
