A single vehicle crash on I-75 Monday afternoon has claimed the life of a Pennsylvania man, according to Suwannee County Fire/Rescue.
Reports from SCFR show that a 72-year-old white male from Airville, Pa., was the only occupant of a Dodge van that impacted some trees and overturned along I-75, just north of CR 136, in Suwannee County. Rescue workers from SCFR stations one and 51 responded, along with units from Columbia County.
According to SCFR, Columbia County units returned to their station since the accident was in Suwannee County.
The name of the driver has not been released, pending family notification.
The vehicle departed the highway approximately one fourth to one half of a mile before impacting the trees, SCFR reported.
