1.            Approve payment of invoices.

 

2.            Approval to advertise for bids for the exterior painting of the Courthouse.

 

3.            Approval to advertise for bids for the demolition of the old EMS station located in Branford.

 

4.            Approval to advertise for bids for LP gas for Public Works Department.

 

5.            Approval to advertise for bids for waste tire disposal for Public Works Department.

 

6.            Approval to advertise for bids for cold mixed asphalt for Public Works Department.

 

7.            Approval to advertise for bids for three (3) motor graders for Public Works Department.

 

8.            Authorization to advertise for Request for Proposals (RFP) for fill dirt from local property owners for Public Works Department.

 

TIME SPECIFIC ITEMS:

9.            At 9:00 A.M., or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, authorization to proceed with Remedial Action Implementation (RAI) plan for Suwannee County Landfill.  (Frank Darabi)

 

10.        At 10:00 A.M., or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, open bids, for the replacement of Cooling Tower for A/C Chilling System installed at the Suwannee County Jail.  (Bid Solicitation No. 2011-01)  (Joe Gerrity, Jr., County Coordinator)

 

11.        At 10:00 A.M., or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, open bids, for the replacement of existing washer-extractor located at the Suwannee County Jail.  (Bid Solicitation No. 2011-02)  (Joe Gerrity, Jr., County Coordinator)

 

12.        At 10:00 A.M., or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, open bids, for the construction of the Soccer Complex.  (Bid Solicitation No. 2011-03)  (Greg Scott, Parks and Recreation Director)

16.        Consider approval of Donated Space agreement with Meridian Behavioral Healthcare, Inc. for use of the Suwannee County Services Building for the provision of Alcohol, Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services.  (Margarita Labarta, President – Meridian Behavioral Healthcare, Inc.)

 

17.        Approval to advertise for a Library Aide II position at the Madison Library.  (John D. Hales, Jr., Director of Libraries)

 

18.        Permission to purchase E911 GIS map generation software, in the amount of $16,457.15, from AK Associates, as a sole source.  (James Robinson, 911 Coordinator)

 

19.        Permission to purchase E911 mapping display software, in the amount of $53,404.12, from AK Associates, as a sole source.  (James Robinson, 911 Coordinator)

 

20.        Consider approval of Supplemental Agreement #1 with the Florida Department of Transportation to include E-Verify Language, per Governor’s Executive Order No. 11-02, for the for the Intersection and Roadway Improvements on Silas Extension from end of existing pavement to SR51 CIGP agreement.  (Joe Gerrity, Jr., County Coordinator)

 

21.        Discuss, with possible Board action, prioritizing and submitting two (2) projects for Transportation Enhancement Program.  (Randy Harris, Public Works Director)

 

22.        Permission to advertise to fill vacancy for Inmate Crew Leader position at Public Works Department.  (Randy Harris, Public Works Director)

 

23.        Discuss, with possible Board action, the Public Works office located in Branford.  (Randy Harris, Public Works Director)

 

24.        Consider approval of Supplemental Agreement #1 with the Florida Department of Transportation to include E-Verify Language, per Governor’s Executive Order No. 11-02, for the resurfacing of 149th Road SCRAP agreement.  (Randy Harris, Public Works Director)

 

25.        Consider approval to extend the length of 27th Road project to include 25th Road, for a total cost approximately $156,064.87, to be paid by District 4 gas tax funds.  (Randy Harris, Public Works Director)

 

26.        Consider approval to advertise for bids for the resurfacing of 149th Road in District 1.  (SCRAP)  (Jesse Caruthers, Chairman)

 

27.        Discuss, with possible Board action, resurfacing of 129th Road, North of US 90, to be paid by District 1 gas tax funds.  (Chairman Jesse Caruthers)

 

28.        Consider recommendation of Bid Review Committee in awarding of bid for the construction of the Soccer Complex.  (Bid Solicitation No. 2011-03)  (Greg Scott, Parks and Recreation Director)
