Flood warning remains in effect

Live Oak — A flood warning remains in effect for Suwannee River at Ellaville (US 90) affecting Hamilton and Suwannee counties and for Santa Fe River at Three Rivers Estates affecting Suwannee County.

At Ellaville, the stage was 45.1 feet Saturday morning. Flood stage is 54 feet.

The river is expected to rise above flood stage by Tuesday morning and continue to rise to near 58.5 feet by Thursday morning. Additional rises are possible thereafter to near 60 feet by Friday. At 58 feet, flooding will cause Suwannee River State Park to be closed.



At Three Rivers Estates, the Santa Fe River stage was at 15 feet Saturday morning. Flood stage is 19 feet. Moderate flooding is forecast.

The river is expected to rise above flood stage by Monday before midnight and continue to rise to near 21.4 feet by Thursday morning. Additional rises are possible thereafter.

Impacts:

At 21.2 feet, north part of Santa Fe Road is closed.

At 20 feet, flooding begins on Santa Fe and Wilson Springs Road.

At 19.8 feet, waters begin to affect homes in the Hollingsworth Bluff area at State Rout 47.
