Grady’s Automotive in Live Oak made history this week with the debut of the first brand new street legal totally electric vehicle available for sale to the local community. Utilizing Wildfire Motors brand products as an integral role for its re-opening last March, Grady’s Automotive expanded their offerings to include UTVs, street legal motorcycles, gas powered vehicles and totally electric vehicles.
“I am absolutely excited about this ground breaking opportunity to offer electric vehicles in addition to the other Wildfire Motors products here on my lot,” said owner Grady Cadle.
The street legal Wildfire WF-120V is a Total Electric Vehicle, referred to as a Neighborhood Electric Vehicle, or NEV. It’s ideal for use by local businesses or neighborhood savvy individuals for jogs around town or in the local neighborhood. The WF-120V has a 70 mile range on one charge when the speed control is set to 30 mph and the speed limiter can be adjusted up to 55 mph. The battery can be charged in 8-12 hours as much 500 times. Options include mag style wheels, AM/FM mp3 player and power windows. A one year 12,000 mile warranty is standard on the electric driving motor and deep cycle battery is standard.
Grady’s Automotive also included a new street legal sport bike and cruiser motorcycle to their extensive offerings as well as the Wildfire Motors WF650-C, a 70 mpg 3 wheeled car. Intended for those who want more distance on less fuel, this car can travel up to 300 miles on just 5 gallons of fuel while accommodating 3 passengers and a driver.
“With the economy being down and the public going to tighter budgets, people are looking for ways to save money,” says Grady. “If their goal is to have a little fun in the process, we can help.”
