Internet cafés: Gambling or good, clean fun?
Live Oak — Flashing lights, a smoke-filled room and casino-style games might make you think you’re in Vegas.
Far from it. Though gambling is still illegal here, as in most of Florida, some local businesses have found a way to give customers a chance to play such games.
Some officials say the new businesses, known as Internet cafés, are fully legal. Others call them questionable at the very least.
