Branford —
A Branford man sustained minor injuries in a wreck that occurred on Monday, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
According to an FHP report, Raymond Eason, 62, Branford, was traveling west on US 27 in a 1995 Ford Mustang around 6:45 p.m. The vehicle traveled on the roadway to the right onto the northernmost grassy shoulder where the right front of his vehicle struck a culvert. After colliding with the culvert, the Mustang rotated counter clockwise and traveled back across both lanes of US 27 in a southwesterly direction. The vehicle then traveled off the roadway to the left onto the southernmost grassy shoulder, traveling backwards and struck an embankment with its rear on the south side of the roadway. The vehicle came to a final rest facing northeast.
Eason suffered minor injuries. His passenger, Nelson Sapp, 48, Ft. White, escaped unharmed.
