Basketball: Lady ‘Dogs fall to Madison

Live Oak — The Lady ‘Dogs lost Saturday’s non-conference game against host Madison by a score of 49-46.

It was a slow start for Suwannee against Madison with only three points for the entire first quarter. There were a couple of great three-pointers made late in the fourth quarter by Daycia Bandy and Kyra McClendon. McClendon was fouled as she was shooting for a three-pointer. She made the shot as well as the extra free shot point.

Bandy went for a three-pointer with about 44 seconds remaining in the game and made it. The game was only three points in difference, but the Lady ‘Dogs just couldn’t muster another shot.

The Lady ‘Dogs play Rickards at home on Tuesday and will face Aucilla Christian on the road on Friday.
