The Suwannee High School ladies varsity volleyball team traveled to Rickards High School Thursday night, Oct. 25 for district play. The SHS Lady ‘Dogs walked away with the District 5A runners-up trophy from the Florida High School Athletic Association.
The first game was against Rickards in the semi-finals. Suwannee dominated the game winning all three matches. The first match was 25-13, the second was 25-18 and the third was 25-20.
In game two, Suwannee couldn’t quite pull out a win against Wakulla County.
Wakulla won all three spreads. The first game was 25-12, the second was 25-22 and third was 25-23.
The ladies travel to Gulf Breeze High School tonight to play in the regional quarterfinals at 7 p.m.

The spring game is Friday, May 24, at Tallahassee Maclay at 7 p.m. -
