The Branford High varsity girls basketball team lost to the the Hamilton County Trojans in a Branford game Tuesday.
The Trojans dominated the game from the start as the first quarter ended with the score 22-5 with Trojans on top. Throughout the game the Trojans were able to steal the ball quite frequently, so they were able to make the points and in turn, keep the Bucs from scoring. By the half, the Trojans had brought their score to 37 with the Bucs trailing by 11. Well into the third quarter, the score was 50-22 with Trojans leading and with one minute and 36 seconds left in the game the score was 61-35 Trojans. By the final buzzer, the score was 64-37, Trojans.
