Bowler of the Week - July 30, 2010

Live Oak — In the 9 Pin No Tap league, Tiffany Smith bowled 133 pins over her average for a 568 series making her Thunder Alley Bowler of the Week. I don't know of any other bowler that wanted to be Bowler of the Week more than Tiffany.

Dave Ward led the league with a 725 series followed by Lorrie Geiger with a 702 and Chris Rathbun with a 682. Thure Olson led the Men's league with a 580 series followed by Roger Rathbun with 510 and Jon Cadle with 494.

Debbie Rice led the Monday Morning Blues with a 511 series followed by Thure Olson with a 499 and Larry Robinson with a 483.

The results are in on the Scratch Scotch Doubles tournament held on July 24. Aline Neveils and Ward came in first with a 474.  Lorrie Geiger and Kim Carter came in second with a 472.  Sheila Madsen and Thure Olson came in third with a 471.

Delores White and Jerry Hakes came in fourth with a 417 and Debbie and John Rice came in fifth with a 413. Everyone had so much fun though, so scores really don't matter. Right?

On September 18 there will be a Benefit Tournament for David Roper. I will have more on that story at a later date but you are welcome to come in and sign up for this tournament now.  This will be a 9 Pin No Tap and will start at 2 p.m. On August 7, there will be a big yard sale in the morning and karaoke in the evening. You can call for more information at 386-364-7778.
