“Placing 4th in the District Tournament was not what I predicted, but once the season is over and you move into tournament play, it is anyones game,” said coach Kim Boatright.  “All four teams were very close in points at the tournament, but only two teams can advance to regional play and unfortunately, for the first time in about four years, Suwannee girls will not advance.”

Boatright continued, “I am very proud of the girls this season. They played extremely hard and with a lot of heart. We will return five players for next year, but hopefully, we will pick up some younger players to help fill the gap for losing three remarkable seniors!”
