Suwannee High Bulldog Trevor Touchton was picked to play on the North Central Florida Baseball Stars Collegiate Development team for ages 18 and up.
Touchton participated in a baseball workshop and showcase at Alachua High School May 29, 30 and 31. He was timed on running, clocked on throwing and batted in cages and in live games. There were over 80 boys at the event that saw coaches as far away as Michigan State University. Touchton will play this summer in five tournaments in Miami, Ft. Myers, East Cobb, Columbus and Pensacola. Touchton will play catcher/OF.
Michael Cronan was chosen as pitcher for the 16 and ups. Their tour will be traveling to Winter Haven, Gainesville, Jacksonville and East Cobb.
