Live Oak —
Suwannee High School boys soccer is coming soon and will be off to a big start.
“We’re returning district champs from last year,” said boys soccer coach B.J. Shira. “Well, three years in a row, actually.”
SHS boys soccer begins Saturday at Keystone Heights with the Twin Lakes Preseason Classic against Bucholtz High School at Twin Lakes Park. It begins at 8:30 a.m.
Several key players are returning seniors: Justin Shira, Chris Ortega, Adam Watson and Robbie Sweat.
“Its shaping up to be a good season,” said Shira. “We have 18 varsity and 24 JV players. We hope the fans come out to see us play.”
