to marry August 1



Bill and Kay Green, of Perry, announce the engagement of their daughter, Christina Michelle, to Garrett Preston, the son of Harold and Barbara Brock, of Day, Fla.

The wedding will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2009, at 5 p.m. at The Timbers of Perry.

The bride-to-be is a student at Tallahassee Community College and employed with Taylor Correctional Institution.

Her paternal grandparents are Floreca Green, formally of Perry, and the late William Green Sr. Her maternal grandparents are the late Rufus Williams and Lotus Martin.

The groom-elect is a graduate of Lafayette County High School and is employed with Taylor Correctional Institution.

His paternal grandparents are Elizabeth Brock of Day, Fla., and the late Charlie Brock. His maternal grandparents are David and Billie Rutherford of Lee, Fla., and the late Bonnie McMullen.

All friends and family are invited to attend.
