Live Oak — Suwannee County Fire/Rescue, Wellborn Community Association and the Board of County Commissioners held a groundbreaking ceremony on Oct. 21 for the new SCFR Station 5 which will be located in the town of Wellborn. Interim Public Safety Director James Sommers said he looked forward to having a station in that area, and believes this will help with the response times for the Wellborn area and greatly increase the coverage countywide.
