Notice from Suwannee County Emergency Management

Live Oak — Suwannee County and City of Live Oak are working diligently to meet the needs of our citizens.  At this time Suwannee County has NOT been declared and no FEMA Declaration number has been assigned.

It has been brought to our attention that there may be individuals attempting to pass themselves off as FEMA, asking for personal information.  DO NOT give your information to any one that cannot show proper identification.  When damage assessments are made in the county the teams will consist of more than one person (State, Federal and County) and will have proper identification.

There is a shelter open for those needing to evacuate their homes.  It is located at the Suwannee County Coliseum, 1302 11th Street Live Oak, Fl 32064.

** ALL EVACUEES NEED TO REMEMBER TO TAKE THEIR MEDICATIONS WITH THEM TO THE SHELTER**

**NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ARE ALLOWED ON THE PREMISES**

Love Inc. has asked that those wishing to make a donation for flood survivors may call their office at 386-364-4673.  They are in need of the following items -

Toilet Tissue, Toothbrushes, Toothpaste, Combs, Brushes, shampoo, conditioner, bath soap, Feminine Products, Deodorant, Diapers, Wipes,  Socks, Underwear, Formula, baby food,  razors, shaving cream, Adult diapers, cleaning supplies, bleach, Lysol (any type of cleaning supplies) and shoes.
