Live Oak —
A pedestrian on CR 137 near 264th Street just outside of Branford was struck and killed by a passing vehicle early Tuesday morning, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The person killed was reportedly walking or standing on CR 137 around 6 a.m. when a light blue Kia proceeding southbound on CR 137 struck him.
The pedestrian was pronounced deceased at the scene, according to the FHP.
No other details were provided at the scene.
