Patricia F. Blevins, 75, passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at her son’s residence in Fort Pierce, Fla.
Patricia was born in Ashland, KY and has been a resident of Branford for the past six years, coming from Fort Pierce, Fla. where she lived for 34 years.
Prior to retirement, Patricia worked as a secretary at Northside Baptist Church/Northside Christian Fellowship Church in Fort Pierce for 15 years.
She was a member of Peace Baptist Church in Branford and a former member of Northside Christian Fellowship in Fort Pierce.
Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Thomas of Branford, Fla., sons, Thomas M. Blevins (MaryJane) of Port St. Lucie, Fla., Christopher A. Blevins (Beverly) of Fort Pierce, Fla., Barrett L. Blevins (Tina) of Clewiston, Fla., sister, Dottie Poyner of Fort Pierce, Fla., four grandchildren, Brittany Blevins, Mitch Jr., Bronson Blevins, Bradley Blevins, two great grandchildren, Connor Blevins and Bella Raines Blevins.
A Graveside Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, March 22, 2013 at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Fort Pierce, Fla.

Gerald "Randy" Whitaker, 73, McAlpin, Fla. passed away on Monday, March 18, 2013 after a long illness. The Donalsonville, GA native was the owner/operator of G.R. Whitaker Excavating in Miami, Fla. Mr. Whitaker is survived by his wife of 21 years: Marie Whitaker, McAlpin, Fla.; mother: Mary Whitaker, Jakin, GA; two daughters: Angela & Joey Harvey, Jakin, GA, Vicki W. Bloxom, Middletown, VA; three sisters: Marilyn Anderson, Bainbridge, GA, Debra Whitaker, Jakin, GA, Gloria Miller, Dothan, AL; three brothers: Ronald Whitaker, Dothan, AL, Holden Whitaker, Jakin, GA, Sidney Whitaker, Dothan, AL; two grandchildren: Jessica H. Bloxom, Middletown, VA, Noah K. Bloxom, Middletown, VA and one great-grandchild: Ellysabeth Ann Godwin, Middletown, VA. He was preceded in death by his father: Sidney Bertram Whitaker, Jr. and brother: Earl Rexford Whitaker.

Randy Howard, age 66 of Live Oak, Fla. passed away Monday evening March 18, 2013 at Suwannee Valley Care Center in Lake City, Fla. following a brief illness. He was born in Lake City, Fla. living most of his life in Live Oak. Randy was a graduate of Suwannee High School class of 1965 and was a member of the Florida National Guard. He retired as a supervisor for Occidental Chemical Company, was an avid Gator fan and member of the First Baptist Church.
He was predeceased by his parents, Theron Ray and Cleo Harrell Howard.
He is survived by three daughters, Diana Leigh Stover, Live Oak; Ashley Howard Green, Live Oak; April Murphy, Lake City; one step son, Don Lee, Lake City; one brother, Harmon Howard, White Springs; one sister, Judy Benefield, Live Oak; nine grandchildren three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
As per his wishes finalization was by cremation.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.

Dale Herbert White, Sr., memorial services for will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 23, 2013 at Mr. White’s home, 19709 CR 136, Live Oak, Fla. 32060. Mr. White was born Oct. 7, 1930 and is the son of the late Elizabeth Finn and Frank Neil White of New Jersey. Mr. White was retired after being an auto mechanic for many years. In his spare time he enjoyed being outdoors and got much pleasure from hunting and fishing with his friends and family. He was preceded in death by his wife, Tanya A. White. Mr. White died peacefully in his sleep in the morning on Saturday, March 16, 2013 with his family at his side. Survivors to cherish his memory include his children Dale White, Jr. (Pam) of Waycross, GA, Timothy White (Sonia) and Brenda McCusker (Robert) all of Live Oak; grandchildren Vicktoria White of Atlanta, GA; Tanya Lyras, Tiffany Booze (Matthew), Jesse White (Yomalie), Adrianne O’Steen (Kerry), Ashley Cannon (Karsten), Karen White, Rachel McCusker all of Live Oak; Kevin McCusker (Sylvia) of Cummings, GA; Sandra McCusker of Tampa, Fla. and Michael McCusker (Dena) of Live Oak; great-grandchildren Kyra Lyras, Nicho Lyras, Zoe Lyras, Delia Lyras, Brielle McCusker, Brynne McCusker, Cameron McCusker, Jillian McCusker, Kerstin Booze, Kaylin White, Ethan White, Jaxon O’Steen, Kayden Cannon and Abbie Cannon; sister Emma Himey of New Jersey. Emily Jean Leonard, 65, of Lake Park died on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at her residence following a brief illness. She was born in Orlando, Fla. on Nov. 26, 1947 to the late Elijah and Elsie Loretta Norton Metts and has been a resident of this area since 1984. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Tara and Robert Vann of Lake Park; three grandchildren, Ashley Harris of Kansas City, Kansas, Brittany Harris and Erik Harris both of Lake Park; two great-grandchildren, Aubrey Harris and Ariana Harris; a sister, Joanne Myers of Live Oak, Florida; three brothers and a sister-in-law, William and Tina Metts of Live Oak, Ronald Eric Metts of Lake City, Fla. and Phillip Edward Metts of Live Oak; numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service for Emily Jean Leonard will be held on Sunday, March 24, 2013 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of the McLane Lakewood Funeral Home with Rev. Keith Sandlin officiating. Odell Fortner, 87, Live Oak, Fla. passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 after a short illness. The Florala, Al native lived most her life in Live Oak and was a member of Beulah Baptist Church. Mrs. Fortner is survived by her two daughters: Karon Tucker, Perry, Fla., Terry (Bob) Wallace, Live Oak, Fla.; one son: Elmer W. "Bill" (Sherrin) Fortner, Jr., Mayo, Fla.; seven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 11 a.m on Friday, March 22 at Daniels Memorial Chapel with Rev. Lester Curry officiating. Interment will follow in Pine Level Baptist Church Cemetery.

Born February 5, 1943, in Brockport, New York, to the late James and Mary Judd Messer. He enjoyed boating and model trains, He was a member of the Suwanee Barber Shop Quartet, and the Live Oak Pastors Association,Jim was assistant Pastor for three years at Port Orange United Methodist Church and Pastor of Wellborn and Huntsville United Methodist Churches. He was a loving husband,father,grandfather and great grandfather.
Survivors included his loving wife of 26 years Mary Jane Messer, two sons; James B Messer (Rachel) of Columbus, Ga., James F Conners (Kristen) of Clifton Springs, NY., daughter, Sherry L. Rogers of Billings MT., sister,Gloria Jean Tabor, aunt Marily Schleede, four grandchildren,three great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 23, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Wellborn United Methodist Church with Rev. James Richardson officiating.
