TENTATIVE AGENDA FOR JULY 3, 2012, 9:00 A.M.

CONSENT:

1.             Approve payment of invoices.

 

2.             Approval of Memorandum of Agreement with the Florida Department of Children and Families for Limited County Access to Florida System Data to confirm limited information regarding recipients of Medicaid Services within the County for payment purposes.

 

3.             Approval of agreement with Art Walker Construction in the amount of $460,523.00 for the Reconstruction of 180th Street, and authorization for Chairman to execute Notice to Proceed once bond has been recorded.

 

4.             Adoption of resolution proclaiming July 2, 2012 as the 150th Anniversary of the Morrill Act Establishing the American Land-Grant System and the University of Florida as Florida’s 1862 Land-Grant University.

 

5.             Approval to advertise for vacant Road Maintenance Worker II position for Public Works Director.

 

6.             Approval to advertise for vacant Casual Library Aide I position for Live Oak Library.

 

7.             Approval to advertise for bids for guardrail replacement at CR 252 & 61st Road.

 

8.             Approval to advertise for bids for security cameras for Airport.

 

9.             Approval to advertise for bids for construction of Wellborn Fire Station building.

 

10.         Approval to purchase two (2) Stryker Stretchers from Boundtree Medical, as a sole source, in the amount of $13,230.54.

 

11.         Authorization to submit application in the amount of $27,670 for Assistance to Firefighters Grant Program.

 

 

 

 

TIME SPECIFIC ITEMS:

12.         At 9:00 a.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, consider adoption of a resolution proclaiming July 2012 as “Water Safety Month: Promoting Water Safety through Public Awareness”.  (Florida Department of Children and Families)

 

13.         At 9:00 a.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, hold a public hearing, to consider adoption of resolution authorizing the issuance of Health Care Facilities Revenue and Refunding Bonds (Advent Christian Village Project), Series 2012, in an aggregate principal amount no exceeding $7,800,000 for the purpose of obtaining funds to make a loan to Advent Christian Village.  (Chauncey W. 14.         At 10:00 a.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, hold a public hearing, to consider adoption of an ordinance  changing the Future Land Use Classification from Commercial to Public on certain lands within the unincorporated area of Suwannee County.  (Application CPA 12-01)  (Ronald Meeks, Planning and Zoning Director)

15.         Approve minutes of Regular Meeting held on June 5, 2012 and of Special-Called Meeting held on June 14, 2012.
