Leroy Hurst, Jr.
Oct. 8, 1934 - May 1, 2012
Leroy Hurst Jr., age 77, of Live Oak, Fla., passed away Tuesday, May 1, 2012 in Lake City Medical Center following a brief illness. He was a native and life long resident of Live Oak and a well known self employed farmer. Leroy served in the U.S. Marine Corp and was a member of the FFA and held an American Farmer degree. He was a member of the Westwood Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Lavinia Hurst; one son, Leroy (Sue) Hurst III; two daughters, Sherri (Bruce) Williamson; Cindy (James) Johnson all of Live Oak; one brother, Thomas (Inez) Hurst, Live Oak; four sisters, Myrtle Lee Kirkland and Faye Barrington both of Live Oak; Debbie DeLoach, Rydal, Ga. and Geneva Johnson, Jacksonville, Fla.; six grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Thursday, May 3 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be held Friday, May 4, 2012 at 10 a.m. in the Westwood Baptist Church with Dr. Jimmy Deas officiating.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Family Life Center, c/o Westwood Baptist Church, 920 11th St., Live Oak, FL 32064.

Floyd H. Ashley, 76 of Kuttawa, Ky./Live Oak Fla. Formerly of Benton Ky., died May 1, 2012 after an extended illness in Warner Robins, Ga.
He was a native of Marshall County Ky.
Born May 11, 1935 in Randolph, Vt. to H.E. & Doris Huntley Ashley. He is survived by his wife Aleen Oliver Ashley and four children. Son Sam and Donna Ashley of Symsonia, Ky.; daughter Cindy Ashley of Kuttawa, Ky.; son Guy and Toy Ashley of Cuba, Ky.; daughter Tammy and Jason Brown of Warner Robins, Ga.
Grandchildren include Ashley Bittel, Amy Goodwin, Patrick Veigl, Mark Ashley, Randie Ashley, Daniel Womble II, Brandon Womble and Rachel Oakley. Two step-grandchildren Wesley and Desirae Brown and two great grandchildren.
He was a member of New Harmony Baptist Church. Retired truck driver from PTL and JB Hunt. And also a veteran of the United States Army.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, May 5, 2012, at 4 p.m. at Kuttawa First Baptist Church in Kuttawa, Ky. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to either Westwood Baptist Church Building fund in Live Oak, FL. Or to Kuttawa First Baptist Church in Kuttawa, KY.

Bella Rosanne Frances, of Live Oak, Fla., passed away early Monday morning, April 30, 2012 in Shands Lake Shore in Lake City, Fla.
She is survived by her parents, Terry and Gus Frances; two brothers, Tyler McWatters and Anthony Frances all of Live Oak; paternal grandfather, Francisco Frances, Miami, Fla.; maternal grandmother, Krissy McWatters, Live Oak, Fla.
Private family graveside services were held, 11 a.m. Thursday, May 3, 2012 in the Live Oak Cemetery with Rev. Tim Carver officiating.
