Terry P. Clouser

Terry P. Clouser, 67, passed away on Dec. 25, 2012 in Lake City, Fla.; after a short illness. He was born in Niagara Falls, New York on Feb. 12, 1945.
He was employed by Walmart in Live Oak as a Sales Associate for the past 6 years. Terry was saved and a Christian.
Mr. Clouser is survived by his son, Cary Clouser of St. Annes, Ontario, Canada, 5 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren; his sister Paulette (Rich) Miller Storms of Jacksonville, Fla. and his brother, Calvin (Suzzane) Clouser of McCormick, South Carolina. In addition, he is survived by 2 nephews, 5 nieces and 3 god-children. He will be missed and always loved by his family and friends.
A memorial Service will be on Jan. 12, 2013 at 11 a.m.; The First Advent Christian Church, 699 Pinewood Drive Live Oak, Fla. Family and friends are invited to attend.

Judith Lucille Pierce Johnson, born in Cold Water, Ohio
 Dec. 3, 1986, Judy was called to be with our Lord Dec.18, 2012 at her home in Live Oak, Fla. Judy graduated Suwannee High School in 2005 and completed her Certified Nursing Assistant school shortly there after. Judy is survived by her three sons: Daniel Christopher Johnson, Jr. (age 7) of Live Oak, Joseph Lee Singletary (age 5) of Live Oak and Noah Wyatt Robinson (age 3) also of Live Oak. Others left behind are her parents JoAnn Carmichael (Denton) and Kerry Smith (Bea), her brother Shawn Smith (and family) of Clearwater, Fla. Her fiancé DJ (Clarence Marshall). They were to be married May 15, 2013. Along with many close friends that are missing her dearly. Judy had a smile that would light up the universe , so when you see the brightest star in the night sky shining down, you will know she is flying high on her angel wings, saying to her children and everyone else in her life “I love you, til we meet again.” services to celebrate Judy’s life will be held Jan. 5, 2013 at Clayland Baptist Church at 3 p.m.

James V. Smith

James V. Smith passed away peacefully at home on the
 morning of Dec. 31, 2012 at the age of 94, attended by his son, Jimmy. Born and raised in Pinetta, Florida, Jim was the eldest son of Vernon and Della Gray Smith and graduated Pinetta High School.  He was an avid athlete and played on the State All Star Basketball team.  His 3 siblings, Bessie Jones, Helen Gray Lee, and Sam Smith, all of Lake City, Fla. preceded him in death. 
A long time citizen of Live Oak, he and his wife of 62 years, Carolyn Walker Smith, who passed away in June of 2002, owned and operated the Blue Front Grocery in downtown Live Oak for over 30 years.  After the flood of Hurricane Dora in 1964, they closed the store and Jim went to work with Ratliff-Ford Motor Company for 10 years, and Carolyn worked for Suwannee Valley Electric Cooperative.  He and Carolyn enjoyed many extensive road trips around the U.S.A. 
His son James W. Smith, an attorney in Daytona Beach, Fla., his wife, 3 grand children, 2 step grand children and 2 great grand children survive him.  He will be missed and remembered as a gracious southern gentleman who was charming, handsome and strong; a fair and disciplined businessman; and a loving, admirable father, grandfather and great grandfather.
Graveside service will be held Monday, Jan. 7, 2013 at 1 p.m. at Live Oak Cemetery, Rev. Phillip Harrington officiating.  Daniels Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Michelle Smith a resident of Daytona Beach, Fla. and a former resident of Live Oak, Fla. passed away, Dec. 22, 2012.
Mr. Michelle Smith was 44 years old. She is survived by her husband Sanford Smith, three children; Reginald Sanford Jr., Laporchia Smith; her mother Mrs. Barbara Sims, sister Latasha, brother Brian, aunt Carrie Morris, uncles; Don Morris, Ugene Sims and Ervin Sims, many other close relatives and friends. 
Funeral services for Michelle Smith will be Jan. 5, 2013, 1 p.m. in the Chapel of Udell Funeral Home. Visitation for family and friends will be Friday, Jan. 4, 2013 from 6 - 7 p.m.
