Live Oak —
Let’s keep the conversation going. We begin week two of focusing on downtown revitalization in The Democrat Says on our opinion page (6A). (Read this week's below) Last week we published “A call to action”, asking those organizations that are too numerous to name to come together and push forward on bringing growth, pride and a sense of civility back to our community.
(Read that here)
The downtown buildings are looking good with their makeovers. Live Oak will soon be receiving new, matching trash bins and benches and even welcome signs.
We need more. We need businesses to step up in a more dominate way in helping the customer.

Readers, business owners, community leaders - please send in your thoughts to be published.
Let’s keep the conversation going.
