Live Oak — Lucille T. Short



July 31, 1925 - May 30, 2012



Lucille T. Short, 86, Live Oak, Fla., passed away on Wednesday, May 30, 2012. The Lebanon, Va. native moved to Live Oak in 1996. She was a member of Melody Christian Church in Live Oak and also Senior Citizens of Live Oak. Mrs. Short is survived by her daughter: Connie Short (Gregory) Young, Citra, Fla.; one sister: Linda Hayes, Morristown, Tenn.; one brother: Roger Taylor, Morristown, Tenn.; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sister Evelyn Ferrel and brother: Cecil Taylor.

Graveside services were held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 2 at Live Oak Cemetery with Pastor Frank Davis officiating. In lieu of flowers the family ask donations be made to Haven Hospice of Marion County.

Daniels Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., of Live Oak and Branford, FL in charge of arrangements.
