Police looking for burglary suspect

Live Oak — The Live Oak Police Department is searching for a suspect who may have burglarized Suwannee-Hamilton Technical Center in Live Oak sometime over the weekend.

According to LOPD Det. Justin Bates, officers responded to SHTC on Monday in reference to a delayed burglary.

“Upon arrival officers discovered someone broke a window on the rear of the building and entered the masonry tech area,” said Bates.

A saw was stolen and later discovered at a local pawn shop. From there, detectives with the LOPD developed a suspect, Marcus Locklear, 44, Live Oak.

“We believe Locklear is still in the area hiding,” said Bates.

If you have any information on Locklear’s whereabouts you are asked to contact the LOPD at 386-362-7463 ext 232 or Crime Stoppers at 386-208-8477.
