One injured in Wednesday vehicle crash

Live Oak — One person was injured in a single car wreck early Wednesday afternoon on 208th Street, near US 129 South  in O’Brien. The unidentified driver and sole occupant of the Chevrolet SUV was traveling east on 208th Street when he failed to negotiate a sharp curve to the left. As a result, the vehicle departed the roadway and the front of the SUV struck a large oak tree.

Suwannee County Fire/Rescue, along with the Suwannee County Sheriff’s Office, responded to the accident.

The driver was transported by ambulance to an area hospital for treatment.
