Democrat Morning Update for Wednesday, July 11

Live Oak — Weather:



Wednesday A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after noon. Partly sunny, with a high near 94. Heat index values as high as 101. Calm wind becoming south around 6 mph in the afternoon.



Wednesday Night A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 3am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 72. Light and variable wind.

State Road 51  Daytime lane closures from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Lafayette County line (Hal Adams Bridge) for emergency repairs at the Suwannee River Bridge.



US 90  The road remains closed about five miles west of Live Oak due to flooding.



US 90  Daytime lane closures east of the Madison County line to 193rd  Road Monday and Tuesday after 9 a.m. to fill a sinkhole.



US 129  Daytime lane closures Wednesday through Friday after 9 a.m. three miles south of Live Oak to fill a sinkhole.

- Drop off donations, clothes, furniture, supplies, etc., to Spirit of Suwannee Music Park off US 129 North, or to Love INC. Call Love INC prior at 386-364-4673.

- First Baptist Church of Live Oak weekly grief recovery support group. 6 p.m.
