Louise Glipse affectionately known by many as “Dankie” was born in Jasper, Fla. on Oct. 6, 1936 to the late Mattie Williams and Joe Willard. Our mother was a well known person and very loved by many. God called our mother home on Feb. 14, 2013 at 1:10 p.m. @ Shands Live Oak Hospital in Live Oak, Fla. Home going celebration for Ms. Louise “Dankie” Glispie 76 of Jasper, Fla. will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013 at Greater Poplar Springs Missionary. Rev. J.T. Billy Simon is the pastor and will officiate. Burial will follow in the Friendship Cemetery, Jasper, Fla.  The Glispie family will receive other relatives and sorrowing friends Friday, Feb. 22, 2013 from 5to 7 p.m. also at Greater Poplar springs Missionary Baptist Church. The funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced later. Professional Mortuary services entrusted to Eric A. Brown & Son Funeral Home.

Glenda Ann Perry was born on Aug. 3, 1951 in Live Oak, Florida. She was the oldest child of the late Nelson Perry, Sr. and Annie Bell Perry. Her father Nelson preceded her in death. Glenda will be greatly missed by her family and all that knew her. On Wednesday, Feb.13, 2013, the Lord called his daughter home at North Florida Rehabilitation Center in Gainesville, Florida. Home going celebration for Ms. Glenda A. Perry 61, of Live Oak, Fla. will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013 at African Missionary Baptist Church in Live Oak, Fla. Rev. Alex Fountain is the pastor and Moderator L.C. Hunt will officiate. Burial services will follow in New Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. The Perry family will receive other relatives and sorrowing friends Friday, Feb. 22, 2013 from 6 to 8 p.m. at New Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church. Professional Mortuary services entrusted to Eric A. Brown & Son funeral Home.

Roger Montague

Roger Montague, 59, Live Oak, Fla. passed away on Monday, Feb. 19, 2013 after a long illness. The Bradenton, Fla. native moved to Live Oak in 1995 from Riedsville, Ga and he was of Baptist Faith.
He is survived by his mother: Amber Montague, Wellborn, Fla.; father: Bob (Rodella) Montague, Live Oak, Fla.; four sisters: Pam Montague, Pat (Grant) Montague, both of Lake City, Fla., Naomi Montague, Wellborn, Fla. and Donna Montague, Gainesville, Fla.; three brothers: Bobby (Lorraine) Montague, Live Oak, Fla., Sam (Patty) Montague, Bradenton, Fla. and Jeremy Montague, Ft. Pierce, Fla.;  special friend: Suzanne Rippe, Bradenton, Fla. and numerous nieces and nephews.
 A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Daniels Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., of Live Oak and Branford, Fla. in charge of arrangements.

Ray "Papa Ray" Henley

Ray "Papa Ray" Henley, 71, Live Oak, Fla. passed away on Monday, Feb. 18, 2013. The Jonesboro, AR native was a member of Local 25 Operating Corp of Engineers for 35 years, was a Army Veteran and was of Baptist Faith. Mr. Henley loved hunting and fishing. He is survived by his wife: Marie Henley, Live Oak, Fla.; three daughters: Gloria Riley, Tampa, Fla., Belinda Johnston, Live Oak, Fla., Jennifer Smith, Key West, Fla.; one sister: Naomi Tesson; one brother: Charles Henley, Dade City, Fla.; Aunt: Fleter Duncan; ten grandchildren: Angie Westfall, Michelle Walker, Wyman Jackson, Richard Jackson, Lisa Burke, Jean Hisler, Ben Johnston, Johnny Adams, Stacie Bailey, Taryn Miller and fourteen great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter: Dolores Hisler. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 22 at Daniels Memorial Chapel with Rev. Wilbur Woods officiating. Interment will follow in the Live Oak Cemetery.
