Pregnancy Care Centers walk/5K run events

The Pregnancy Care Center’s of Live Oak and Lake City will be challenging each other in the quest to exceed a goal of $25,000 through a walk/5K run event to be held Saturday. The Live Oak and Lake City walk as well as the 5K Run 4 Life in Live Oak are all on the same day this year. The event is simply to raise money to save lives.



Branford’s 56th Annual Rodeo 


Bring the family to Branford as the Annual Rodeo kicks off tonight. Enjoy the parade Saturday and more rodeo action Saturday night.



Harlem Legends vs. Suwannee Valley All Stars


The game to benefit the Girls & Boys Club between the Harlem Legends and Suwannee County All Stars is set for 4:30 p.m. Saturday at the Suwannee County Coliseum. Meet Harlem Legend Michael Douglas at either Taco Bell or Krystal of Live Oak between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Saturday.



Lions Club Horseshoe Tournament


Get ready, get set, it’s time for the Lions Club’s Second Annual Charity Horseshoe Tournament that is set to take place this Saturday, Sept. 29 at the First Federal Sportsplex in Live Oak. Competitors can register at 8 a.m. prior to the games starting at 9 a.m. Proceeds help Suwannee County residents.



Rotary Club of Live Oak Golf Tourney


Suwannee Country Club will host the Rotary Club of Live Oak Golf Tournament on Saturday with all proceeds benefiting the club’s disaster relief fund.
