Rotary Club of Live Oak Golf Tourney held Sept. 29

Live Oak — Suwannee Country Club hosted the Rotary Club of Live Oak Golf Tournament on Saturday, Sept. 29 with all proceeds benefiting the club’s disaster relief fund.

Nineteen three-person teams teed off at 8 a.m. and by 1:30 p.m. they were all in the clubhouse eating hotdogs and hamburgers provided by Rotarian and Dairy Queen owner Roy Guercio and Suzanne Dunn.

In first place was the team of Henry McCray, Lance McCray and Mike Swank. Second went to Danny Hales, John Martz and Jimmy Prevatt. Third place went to Bill Owen, Jerry Poole and Matt Scott. Closest to the pin was Mike Koon and the longest drive went to Lyndee Fletcher.

The Rotary Club of Live Oak wants to thank all the sponsors and players who made this year’s tournament a huge success. All money raised will go to support the club’s ongoing disaster relief efforts.
