Democrat Morning Update for Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2013

Live Oak — Weather:

  • Tuesday Showers and possibly a thunderstorm before 3pm, then a chance of showers. Some of the storms could produce gusty winds. High near 73. Breezy, with a southwest wind 11 to 18 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%.

     
  • Tuesday Night A 20 percent chance of showers before 9pm. Partly cloudy, with a low around 46. Southwest wind 6 to 11 mph.

Traffic information:

HAMILTON COUNTY:

Interstate 75 Daytime and nighttime lane closures Monday through Thursday for northbound traffic between State Road 6 (Exit 460) and the Georgia line for paving. Two lanes are closed between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. to pave the center lane. The speed limit is reduced to 60 mph during lane closures. No lanes are closed from 6 a.m. Friday until 8 p.m. Sunday.

LAFAYETTE COUNTY:

County Road 354 Daytime lane closures between US 27 and State Road 51 (Hal Adams Bridge) to provide pavement markings and cleanup for the new bike trail on the north and east side of the road.
