Mayo —
The Lafayette County Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring a Spring Festival in the Veterans Memorial Park on Saturday, April 13, beginning at 9 a.m. and running until 5 p.m.
There will be food booths, crafts and recreation for the children. Church groups, school groups and civic groups are encouraged to participate in this festival. The number of booths will be limited so there is a first come, first serve policy. We have now closed applications for food booths. All applications will be subject to review by the Spring Festival committee to avoid massive duplication of types of booths.
The park will not be open on Friday night for this festival but vendors may set up their booths on Friday after 1 p.m. and there will be security in the park on Friday night. There will be limited entertainment during the day on Saturday at the gazebo.
Please call the Chamber at 386-295-2705 for more information or to ask for an application. Applications can also be acquired by going to our website at www.lafayettecountychamber.com. We are limiting the number of booths to 75. We look forward to seeing everyone out to help kick off the Spring season with lots of food, recreation for the children, and crafts.
