The murder trial of Lonnie Robert Munn began on Tuesday in a Suwannee County courtroom and concluded today, with the jury delivering a guilty verdict on all charges.
Munn was charged with three counts of first degree murder, three counts of home invasion robbery and three counts of kidnapping of Joseph Militello Jr., 57, his wife Nancy L. Militello, 68 and their nephew Angelo Rosales, 32, in the home they shared in August 2010.
Munn was the last person to face charges for the crimes.
Upon conclusion of the verdict, Munn was handcuffed and retained by deputies for the Suwannee County Sheriff’s Office.
His demeanor didn’t change during reading of the verdict.
The jury went into deliberation shortly after 1 p.m. and finished deliberating around 4 p.m. Munn’s sentencing is scheduled for 9 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 6, at the Suwannee County Courthouse.
James Lindsey Howze, Munn’s co-defendant, was scheduled for trial last fall but agreed to a plea bargain offered by the state and was sentenced to prison for life without any chance of parole.
The third co-defendant in the case, Keith Allen Hughes hanged himself in a Suwannee County Jail cell on Sept. 25, 2010.

Live Oak college student no longer missing
The Live Oak college student who was reported missing Wednesday after he missed a scheduled flight to Russia with his college class and couldn't be found, is fine. Walker Helvenston called his family Saturday and said he missed his flight. He was reportedly driving back to Live Oak Saturday, his dad Brant Helvenston said.
