Flea Across Florida coming soon

Live Oak — The longest yard sale in Florida is being held Sept. 14-16 from Live Oak to Pensacola.

This is the third semi-annual Flea Across Florida which will be held from 7 a.m. until dark each day. There will be over 200 yard sales stretching across 272 miles

.
“There will be old, new, used, collectibles, antiques, clothes, hardware, tools and much more will be offered at very reasonable prices,” said event coordinator Barney Everett. “The first two events were very successful, bringing thousands of shoppers from as far as Texas, Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, Tennessee as well as Florida.”

The largest concentration of vendors will be in downtown Live Oak with booth spaces located in the first two blocks of Howard Street.

Other towns and communities participating include Lee, Madison, Greenville, Monticello, Tallahassee, Chipley, Bonifay, Crestview, Milton, Pace, Pensacola and all communities in between.

“Everyone is invited to participate. You may set up a booth any where along US 90 as long as you own the property or have permission from the owner and stay well off the Florida Department of Transportation Right-of-way,” said Everett.

Those that are interested in spaces or being food vendors may contact Everett at 386-364-1006 or online at fleaacrossflorida.com.

“Come on out and have your sale or shop Flea Across Florida,” said Everett. “Help us help as many people and businesses as possible during these two events.”

Flea Across Florida is held each April and September and is sponsored by Live Oak Tourism and Development and Live Oak Partnership.
