James Cleo Bell

James Cleo Bell, 88, Live Oak, Fla. passed away on Friday, Feb. 22, 2013 after a long illness. The Madison native lived most of his life in Live Oak, Fla. James retired from Live Oak Gas Co. He served in the U.S. Army World War II and was a member of Mt. Gilead Baptist Church. He is survived by daughter: Connie Bell and Peyton Burroughs, Live Oak, Fla.; sister: Mae Bray, Hillard Fla.; brother: Quinton & Virginia Bell, Live Oak, Fla.; four grandchildren: April McClamma, Joanie & Phil Corbet, Autumn & Casey Lokan, Becky & Allen Douglas; eight great-grandchildren: Dain Jarrell, Trent Jarrell, Junior Brookins, Peyton Corbett, David Corbett, Lydia Corbett, C.J. Lokan, Jasmine Douglas.
Visitation was held 6 - 8 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 24, 2013 at Daniels Funeral Home, Live Oak, Fla. Services were held at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church at 11 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 25, 2013 interment followed at the church cemetery. Rev. John Hendricks and Rev. Ricky Lyons officiated the service.
