Live Oak —
The much-anticipated repairs are complete for Pinewood Drive, the road between Walker and Ohio avenues. It is now reopened and traffic has been taking advantage.
For several months this connector road to several Suwannee County schools had been closed by the city due to a 75-foot sinkhole that was created by TS Debby.
School personnel, students, parents and anyone wanting to access any of the schools in relation to Pinewood Drive had to use alternate roads because of the water damage. Traffic has quickly picked back up for this very important and heavily-used route.
