Live Oak — A cold front will move into the region on Saturday night and Sunday. Ahead of this front...deep tropical moisture is expected to surge northeastward from the Gulf of Mexico across our area. Numerous thunderstorms...with the potential for widespread heavy rainfall...are possible on Saturday and Sunday ahead of this front. The stronger storms will produce frequent lightning...gusty winds and heavy rainfall. Activity should diminish significantly by Sunday night as the cold front moves south of our region.

Saturday Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly after 10 a.m. Partly sunny, with a high near 89. Southwest wind 5 to 13 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. Saturday night showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly before 9 p.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 72. South wind 5 to 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. Sunday showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly between noon and 3 p.m. Partly sunny, with a high near 89. Calm wind becoming west 5 to 7 mph in the morning. Chance of precipitation is 60%. Sunday night a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 9 pm. Partly cloudy, with a low around 67.
