Sylvia Wilson

Sylvia Wilson of Live Oak passed away Saturday, Aug. 25, 2012 following a lengthy illness. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Tammy and her father Mordecai Summerfield and is survived by her husband, Carl Wilson, and her mother Jewel Cribb, both of Live Oak. Sylvia is also survived by her children, Marsha Lundin and Mark Wilson of Live Oak. Other survivors include three granddaughters, Hannah, Casey and Lillie one grandson, Ryan, brothers John Summerfield and Kenneth Troupe, and five sisters, Linda Goolsby, Shelley Moore, Anna Freeze, Beatrice Hickman, Tina Colbank.
A member of Tabernacle Baptist Church, Sylvia lived by the words of the bible. She never refused anyone in need and often carried others to doctor’s appointments, mended their clothes and assisted them in buying school clothes for children. For many years, Sylvia cared for the children of Suwannee County at her home daycare center and at many local churches. Sylvia was loved by many and will be missed very much. A memorial service will be held at tabernacle Baptist Church in Live Oak on Saturday, Sept. 15 at 11 a.m.

Daniel C . Wilkerson, 72, passed away Saturday, Sept. 1, 2012 in the VA Medical Center, Lake City, Fla .
Mr. Wilkerson was born in Branford, Fla. April 18, 1940. He was a Electronics Technician Veteran of the US Navy and of the Church of Christ Faith.
Survivors include his wife: Belinda Lee Wilkerson, St. Petersburg, Fla.; two daughters , Leana D. Mace of Dade City, Fla., Laura Patterson of Lake Alford , Fla., Three sons, John Wilkerson of Tampa , Fla., Dannell Wilkerson of St. Petersburg, Fla., Darren Wilkerson of Tampa, Fla., one Sister, Evelyn Eilers of Branford, Fla., two Brothers, Darrell Wilkerson of Trenton, Fla., Larry Wilkerson of Branford, Fla.,  4
Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren also survive .
Graveside services were conducted Thursday, Sept. 6, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Santa Fe Cemetery, 45th Road, Branford, Fla. with Mr. Bob Fletcher officiating .
