SC Task Force efforts yield more drug busts

Live Oak — Continued efforts of the Suwannee County Drug Task Force have led to the arrest of two more individuals on various charges, including the sale of hydrocodone and oxycodone, according to the Suwannee County Sheriff’s Office.

Reports show that Richard Lamar Little III, 24, 10395 70th St., Live Oak was arrested on April 18. Reports show that during the course of an investigation, Little stole $100 in pre-recorded funds that had been issued by drug task force investigators. Authorities say that Little later sold oxycodone 30 mg tablets to a confidential source and was positively identified.

Little was jailed on the charges of possession of oxycodone with the intent to sell, sale of oxycodone and theft of government funds.

Rita Ogburn, 58, 608 Webb Drive, Live Oak, was also arrested on April 18 after authorities confirmed that she had sold 34.3 grams of hydrocodone to a confidential source.

Ogburn was jailed on the charges of possession of hydrocodone with the intent to sell, sale of hydrocodone within 1,000 feet of a public housing facility and trafficking in hydrocodone.
