Citizens Police Academy starts Oct. 9.

Application and fee required

Live Oak — Live Oak Police Department Chief Buddy Williams announces the LOPD will be conducting a Citizens Police Academy beginning on Tuesday, Oct. 9.

The academy will be held at the police headquarters at 205 SE White Ave. and other selected locations each Tuesday evening, from 6 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. for ten weeks.

The academy offers an opportunity for citizens to learn more about local law enforcement and the criminal justice system, “up close and personal”,  …… and ……… much, much more.

There is a $20 registration fee payable upon application. Pick up an application at the Live Oak Police Department located at 205 SE White Ave.
