Live Oak —
The jury just went to deliberate in the Lonnie Munn trial. We will bring you the verdict online as soon as we get it.
Munn's trial started Tuesday in a Suwannee County courtroom. He stands accused of the shooting deaths of the August 2010 McAlpin triple murder and robbery of Joseph Militello Jr., 57, his wife Nancy L. Militello, 68 and their nephew Angelo Rosales, 32.
James Lindsey Howze, Munn’s co-defendant, was scheduled for trial last fall but agreed to a plea bargain offered by the state and was sentenced to prison for life without any chance of parole.
He testified Thursday. Munn also took the stand on his own behalf
Thursday, and finished Friday. We will bring your more on that.
The third co-defendant in the case, Keith Allen Hughes hung himself in a Suwannee County Jail cell on Sept. 25, 2010.
